The model describes four steps, of which the first step (A) is based on the personality characteristics of the individual, which are matched to compatible types of (B) occupational roles. To these two parameters, 'qualifying components' (C) are added, such as energy grade, extraversion, education, experience and 'intelligence'. The fourth step (D) will be the profession where the individual is likely to perform best, because this profession also holds the most rewarding components in accordance with the individual's characteristics and talent.

Assessing the individual, primarily based on his or hers characteristics, before the level of education or even experience, is likely to give a significantly more qualitative outcome in each individual's performance in virtually all areas of society.
